Privacy Policy

Bulk Certificate Generator ("the service") lets you create certificates of completion from a CSV file or a list of names. This policy explains what data the service touches and what it does with it.

The short version

• Your CSV file, the names in it, and the certificates you create are processed in your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers.
• You can use the free preview without an account.
• We keep only the minimum needed to run the site and, once checkout is live, to process payments.

Data you provide

Recipient lists. When you upload a CSV or paste names, the file is read by JavaScript running on your own device. Certificate PDFs and ZIP files are generated locally and saved straight to your computer. We never receive the contents of your list.

Payments. Paid unlocks are processed by Waffo (Pancake). When you pay, Waffo collects your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive a payment confirmation (such as an order ID, amount and optionally the email address you enter at checkout) so we can unlock the batch you bought and handle refunds. We never see or store your card number.

Accounts. An account is not required. If optional sign-in is enabled in the future, we would store your email address and name to identify you.

Data collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) records basic request logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the service secure and working. We may use privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics to understand which pages are used. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising profiles.

Cookies and local storage

The site may store small preferences in your browser, such as your light or dark theme. These are not used to track you across other websites.

Retention

Because your recipient lists never reach us, there is nothing to delete on our side. Payment records are kept as long as required for accounting and tax purposes.

Children

The service is intended for teachers, trainers and organizations. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
